Welcome to Ruscombe and Whiteshill Village Shop and Cafe website. We are so fortunate that we are set in a very beautiful part of Gloucestershire and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Cotswold Way.
If you are just visiting for the day or on holiday, Whiteshill is a very good base from which to make visits to Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Within the Stroud district we have the local attractions of Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge Wildfowl Centre and Cattle Country, which are very popular attractions for families.
To the north of the village is the City of Gloucester and the historic Gloucester Cathedral, where several Harry Potter films were filmed and also the Gloucester Quays shopping development.

Nearest Local Pubs are:
The Star Inn (Whiteshill) and The Vine Tree Inn (Randwick)
Walkers are very welcome to have a browse, a hot drink, use our toilet facilities and look at the views. We are convenient for local routes for Ramblers or for walking the Cotswold Way.

There is a signposted walk of about 4.5 mile (7.2km) around the parish of Whiteshill and Ruscombe called the Jubilee Walk which starts and ends at the Village Shop – look out for the numbered white circular waymarkers along the route. There is also a large-scale local map on the outside of the shop which includes all footpaths, including the Jubilee Walk and the Cotswold Way.’
